Dibrugarh returning officer has rejected the nomination papers of Aam Admi Party candidate during the scrutiny on Saturday.
According to sources, Tapan Sudbanshi’s nomination papers have been rejected because of a glaring mistakes in the voter numbers of his proposer and seconder.
Other nomination papers are have been found correct and valid.
With this, the number of contesting candidates in Dibrugarh is 7. Polling will take place on April 7.
