BPF fields Chandan in Kokrajhar

Bodoland Peoples’ Front has fielded Chandan Brahma in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from Kokrajhar giving a raw deal for the sitting MP SK Bwismuthiary.

The announcement came from BPF leadership who was holding a press conference in Kokrajhar on Monday. The party has announced the name of Sahadev Das as candidate for Mongoldoi.

But a visibly upset Bwismuthiary said that he would contest in Kokrajhar as an independent candidate.
