3 KPLT militants held

Security forces seem to have stepped up offensive against KPLT militants in Karbi Anglong district a day after a minor boy sustained injury in the cross fire at Howraghat.

According to information, during a combing operation army and CRPF jawans arrested three militants of the Karbi outfit from Mantilla area in the wee hours. Apart from the trio, security forces have captured a KPLT linkman from the area.  

A minor boy sustained serious injury at an incident of cross fire between KPLT militants and security forces in Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday.
