ABSU president Promod Boro while flagging off grand bike rally

A grand bike rally was carried out in support of Independent candidate Urkhao Gwra Brahma backed by ABSU, BPPF, UDPF, NDFB (P) and PJACBM on Monday in Kokrajhar district.
The rally was flagged off by Promod Boro, President of ABSU at Mijink Nwgwr in Kokrajhar town in the presence of independent candidate Brahma where hundreds of bikers from various parts of the district participated. The rally started from Mijink Nwgwr  via J D Road, Fly over,Narabari,Bhotgaon Choraikola,Salakati,Titaguri,Tiniali Haltugaon,Simbargaon,Serfanguri,Dorle Bazar,Gossainichina,Dotma,Sakti Ashram,Fakiragram,Magurmari and concluded at Kokrajhar town.

Boro while addressing the rally said the people want change of society in all respect of which why publics come out to support Brahma for good governance, all round development and safety and security. Boro appeals the people to vote in favor of its candidates Brahma in ensuing election.

Brahma, how had earlier served as Rajya Sabha MP assured to addressed the issues of human resource development and social integration among all sections of community in the region. Brahma said the mistrust among the communities in the Bodoland region was a matter of concern and there was a need to change the political approach to tackle the situation in providing safety and security to the common people irrespective of caste, language, and religion and good governance. Brahma is also in favour of a permanent solution of the Bodoland statehood problem.

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The owner and members of the Motor Vehicles in Kokrajhar has warned to take non-cooperation during ensuing Assam assembly election in protest against non-payment of 32 crores of hire charge bills and previous bills of vehicles, which are pending for a long time in the district. The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
