Voting peaceful in Mongoldoi

Defying a sunny morning, voters in Mongoldoi are waiting in long queues in front of the polling booths to exercise their franchise in the third and final phase of Lok Sabha polls on Thursday.

Altogether 15,07,368  voters are expected to exercise their franchise in 1852 polling booths to decide the fate of 12 candidates.

Polling is underway in peaceful note and it will continue till 5 in the evening.

BJP candidate and sitting MP Ramen Deka is pitted against his Congress rival Kirip Chaliha while AGP candidate and former Congress MP Madhab Rajbanshi has a considerable supporters who is contesting as AGP candidate.
