Fresh lease of life awaits BTPS

A fresh lease of life is on the cards in the state’s ailing power sector. Courtesy NTPC which would soon get more strength.

NTPC project director S C Pandey was on a stock taking visit to the Bongaigaon-based Thermal Power Project site at Salakati in Kokrajhar recently. During his day long visit, he inaugurated the bunker building structural work to facilitate ducting erection between Boilers to ESP UNIT I. He said that he was satisfied with the progress of the plant and discussed critical issues which needs immediate attention in the plant.

After being received by the senior officials of NTPC he  inspected the critical areas like coal handling plant, fuel oil unloading pump house, fire water pump house, PT/DM plant, raw waterpump house,main power house and TG floor.
