Peace meeting on prevailing situation

The district administration, Kokrajhar has stepped to deploy more paramilitary forces in the district to stop unwanted incidents, just after killing of seven peoples at Balapara village (Near Sapatgram) under Tulsibil police outpost in Gossaigaon sub-division of Kokrajhar district. 

A peace meeting of involving all party and organizations was held at DC office conference hall with Nitin Khade, Kokrajhar DC in the chair on Friday. Khade said that seven persons were killed and three others injured in the attacked by armed miscreants at Balapara village. He said the district administration has stepped all security arrangement in the district for maintaining peace and harmony among all sections of society. He said anti-social elements have been trying to create chaos among society of which why last night’s incident was held in the district.

He has appealed all sections of community to maintain peace and harmony among society.he has also urged common publics not to belief rumors and restore peace and unity as the district administration has stepped strong security vigil.
