4 bodies fished out; toll 42

One after another body seems to have been floating on the river Beki. Four bullet riddled bodies were fished from the river on Wednesday morning.

Of them, two were fished out from Dummunighat area while one each in Balipara and Goroimari.The bodies were seen floating on the river.

SDRF is expected to fish out more bodies in the search operation being launched on Wednesday. With this, the toll in BTAD bloodletting has gone up to 42.

The bodies are believed to be the residents of Khagrabari in Salbari sib division in Baksa district where armed militants set on fire 50 houses after indiscriminate firing on Friday midnight.
