As many as six people have been left injured in upper Assam's Dibrugrah town when the suspected ULFA militants exploded a powerful hand grenade on Saturday evening. According to information, the blast took place at the Cole Road of the town at around 7-45 in the evening. All these injured people have been shifted to the Assam Medical College Hospital. The Hospital has already two people who received injury at the Tinsukia blast that rocked on the afternoon. Police and civil officials are there on the spot and have started operation to nab the culprits involved in it.
It may be noted that 20 people were injured in two other blast in the state earlier on Saturday. Four of them in the city's Fancy Bazar area while the another exploded in Tinsukia township leaving 16 people injured. After that, the police there recovered a powerful crude bomb in the same upper Assam township. Another crude bomb was recovered in the afternoon in Dhuliabazar in lower Assam's Darrang district.
