No tax for film on Mary Kom

Much to a relief for Mary Kom who is coming up on the big screen, chief minister Tarun Gogoi has announced exemption of entertainment tax on the a Bollywood movie on the World champion woman boxer from Manipur. The movie revolves around boxer Mary Kom for whom the entire northeast is proud of the government will exempt it from entertainment tax. Based on the life of the Olympic bronze medal winner, the film is scheduled for release on Friday.
