On the other hand, the former ABSU president’s family members have yet to be compensated. This was what his family members deplored at a function organized to mark the 14th death anniversary of the Bodo student leader at Habrubari village on Sunday. His wife Raktima Basumatary said that she has not received any amount of money as compensation or ex-gratia. Basumatary was involved in Bodoland movement shouldering president of ABSU during 1990 to 1993 and hold leadership then PDF party from 1996 to till his death. The government and local adminitsration has not given any facility or aids to the family.
