KKHSOU convocation on Sep 27
Come September 27. Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University is all set to hold its first convocation ceremony. Governor and varsity chancellor J.B. Patnaik will preside over the ceremony of the state’s only government distance education university. Emeritus professor of sociology of Delhi University and NEHU chancellor Andre Beteille will be the chief guest of the ceremony where altogether 1,257 successful students will be awarded medals and certificate at the auditorium of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. The varsity would award honorary doctorate of literature to Asha Singh Kanwar, president and chief executive officer of the Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver, Canada.
