2 ULFA man, linkman nabbed

Despite stepped up security measures insurgent elements have been roaming along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border without any hindrance in Sonitpur. Security forces apprehended two ULFA men along with a linkman in the district on Tuesday.

Sources told Assam Times that the trio were nabbed at an operation by a CRPF commando force in the afternoon. Acting on a tip off, CRPF commandos launched a special offensive against them where the trio were nabbed from the interstate border.
