The United Bodo People organization has expressed deep concern over the unwanted politics of mud-slinging a section of Bodo leaders to gain political mileage over the recent carnage.

In a statement,  president and general secretary of United Bodo People organization Mihiniswar Basumatary and Gambaru Muchahary said that the Bodo leaders should understand the real fact that other inimical and hostile different non Bodo organisation and outfits have already taken it as the weakness of the Bodos and their very bent on cornering out the Bodo society as a whole during this critical juncture.

'This abominable politics has rather boomeranged the overall interest of the Bodo society, instead of benefiting none of the Bodo leaders are engaged in each other mud-slinging politics, it said and urged upon the leaders of different-political and non political Bodo organaisations to refrain from practicing each other mud-slinging politics for their vested interest.

BPF leaves three more seats to BJP

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The owner and members of the Motor Vehicles in Kokrajhar has warned to take non-cooperation during ensuing Assam assembly election in protest against non-payment of 32 crores of hire charge bills and previous bills of vehicles, which are pending for a long time in the district. The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
