Guwahati, 31st July: A five-day workshop was held manuscript preparation and painting in Sankari art form in Guwahati from July 26 to 30 under the auspices of the Department of Historical and Antiquarian Studies (DHAS) and in the precinct of DHAS , in association with Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva). Artists from Guwahati, Nagaon, Golaghat, Tezpur etc including teachers, students as well as staff of the Department of Historical and Aquarian Studies participated in the workshop. On February 7th, the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Assam Don Bosco University School of Technology hosted an Alumni Talk at the Azara campus conference hall. The head of the department, Dr. Buljit Buragohain, welcomed the students and felicitated the event's resource person, Abhijeet Boruah, who is an alumnus of the department.
