Narrow escape for trucker

A truck had a narrow escape from the jaw of a death when his truck ferrying coal slipped into the road side in Kokrajhar on Thursday. The incident took place early in the morning on the NH 31(C) at Serfanguri Ramfalbill near Rupnath Brahma field along when the overloaded truck from Guwahati bearing No BR-21E-5860 was on its way to Bihar.

The driver was safe unhurt in the incident. Eye witnesses told Assam Times that the truck fell on the roadside after the driver lost control over the vehicle. Police officials visited the spot and took stock of the incident.
