CM gets tougher with DCs, SPs

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday warned zero tolerance to repeated failures of deputy commissioners and police superintendents.

Opening the DC-SP conference in Guwahati, Gogoi said that the overall law and order scene is still not up to the mark. 

He said the DC s and SPs should know the people and places of their districts. 

He further asked the DCs and SPs to carfully deal with a crowd. Gogoi said,"our police donot know how to deal with protesters."
