BPPF worker shot at

Unidentifed gunman shot at Kamal Singh Basumatary alias Roan, a BPPF(Bodoland Peoples’ Progressive Front) party worker near Bodoland University in Kokrajhar thi sevening around 7.30 pm.

According to sources, Basumatary was returning home at Haltugaon Subhaijhar from Kokrajhar town in a bike when the assailant fired upon seriously injuring him. He was first brought to Kokrajhar Civil hospital and later taken to a hospital in Bongaigaon.
