Assam bandh call by Bengali federation affected

The 12 hours Assam bandh called by BTAD Bengali Youth Students Federation and Assam Bengali Youth Students Federation today affected normal life in Kokrajhar, heart town of BTAD administration demanding stop of harassment to Hindu Bengalies in the name of NRC updation in the state. 

The bandh was started fro  5 am and evoke full response with bandh of road transport communication, business and financial institutions like bazaar, bank, shop, market remained closed, besides private institutions are also saw of closed on the day. 

The students federation have alleged that the government has been creating unreasonable harassment and disturbing the Hindu Bengalies while implementation of NRC updating in the state. 

The federation demanded harassment creating to the Hindu Bengali should be immediately stopped and implement the NRC updation without any trouble and identify the illegal migrants in the state. 

The federation have also slammed Bjp led NDA govt and Congress for their non implementation of assurance that kept during election campaigns in 2014 Lok Sabha elections to meet healthy safe and security and development steps for the community. The student federation termed both Bjp and Congress parties have no any welfare attitude towards building healthy social integration in the region.
