Baarhoongkha, Guwahati play draw

Lower Assam outfits Baarhoongkha AC and Guwahati FC in their first leg of quarter final held at KDSA field today ended draw with 1-1 goal.

Ashok Brahma of Baarhoongkha AC scored the goal in 16 minutes of the match but Lalrin Nunga of Guwahati FC equalized it in 51 minutes. Baarhoongkha AC will take on Guwahati FC in the second leg quarter final on July 12 at Guwahati.

In today’s match, guests like the president and secretary of Assam Football Association Hemendra Nath Brahma, Ankur Dutta, BTC EM of Sports and Youth Welfare Doneswar Goyary, other EM-Rajiv Brahma, MLA Rakheswar Brahma, former Secretary of KDSA Nikunja Brahma and other sport personalities were present.
