Summer Dance workshop concludes

A week long summer dance workshop cum competition was concluded here at Bodofa cultural complex in Kokrajhar with a closing ceremony and attracted viewers.

BTC executive member for Cultural Affairs department Bonzar Daimary graced the closing ceremony as chief guest.

In his speech Daimary urged the learners of dancing to be dedicated and attract minds of the viewers while presenting dancing passion.  

Over 60 participant and competitors from various parts of the region participated in the workshop and learned about dancing disciplines.

The workshop was supervised by Pradeep Gurung, super star of Dance India Dance (DID) and held competition among junior and senior groups on the occasion.

A fashion show with traditional dresses representing various ethnic communities was also presented on the occasion which was applauded from viewers’ and publics.
