Delaying peace process with NDFB
NDFB(P) is quite disappointed with the pace of peace process with the Centre.
This what the straight message the former insurgents conveyed to the Centre from Baska where they held national council meeting on Friday.
NDFB(P) general secretary B Swmkhwr told reporters in Barbari that they struck ceasefire pact with government several years back and yet the progress has been slow as the organization wanted a speedier process.
According to Swmkhwr, they would never compromise their original demand. He said that they have already held 13 official level talks with the government.
He urged the government to speed up peace process and hold permanent solutions of the Bodoland issue so that dreams of the Bodos can come true under the purview of the constitution.
He said that the Naga accord will highlight peace and integrity in the region which will pave away the political solutions of the other demand groups across the country.
