Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat,assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

Yes. I live in dibrugarh 2days after this event i saw a ufo around 8pm while i was talking to my friend on phone suddenly i heard a loud noise and the phone's signal was lost.my frined too heard ths noise. I looked up and i saw a big ufo with purple light hovering on top of me. I quickly went inside and called my mom and sister. When they came it went away in a lighting size and became like a star but was moving very fast. My friend also saw the ufo

Job generating industries

In a major boost on the industrial front, an Assam government panel on Sunday has cleared two projects which would generate more direct and indirect jobs for many unemployed youths.Chaired by chief minister Tarun Gogoi, the meeting in Guwahati, the meeting gave green signal for Ajanta Pharma Ltd. To set up a pharmaceuticals manufacturing factory in Chaygaon, Palasbari areas in Kamrup district. Setback on industrial front!

An Assam government panel dealing with the state’s industrial development observed adverse impact of the withdrawal of the North East Industrial Investment policy. Preside over by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, the meeting of the committee expressed grave concern over the setback to the investment due to the Centre’s decision to withdraw the policy. The meeting, however, suggested more industrial units outside Guwahati which would be encouraged with more incentives.Industry minister Basanta Das, additional Chief Secretaries, R.T.Jindal, Subhash Das, K.V. Eapen, Davinder Kumar and other senior officials were present in the meeting.

Threat to ULFA peace process

Pro talks ULFA leaders on Sunday threaten to pull of the peace process if the Centre sticks to its delaying tactics.The top pro talk ULFA leaders who met in Guwahati said that they were quite unhappy with the way the Centre is proceeding to deal with the issue. Presided over by Arabinda Rajkhowa, the meeting further alleged that the government has done precious little to bring Anup Chetia back to the native country which would have been a big boost for the peace process.       Pradeep Gogoi, Mithinga Daimary, Chitrabon Hazarika, Sahadhar Chaudhury, Parnati Deka were prominent among those who attended the meeting.  

Disquieting trend in arms trade

A home ministry report finds a safe route of arms smugglers in the north eastern state of Assam. Security forces have seized 1705 illegal arms in the state during the last four years.According to the report from January to June this year alone 187 illegal weapons have been seized by the security forces suggesting the growing cases of arms smuggling. This is apart from the seizure of 525 arms in 2012. The number of illegal arms seized in 2013 stands at 542 against 451 such seizure in 2014. Manipur is not lagging behind in the seizure of illegal firearms. Tuki witnesses historic pact signing

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki on Sunday witnessed the historic accord signed between the Nyishis and Apatanis at a conglomeration of hundreds of members of both the communities as well as members of various community-based organizations from across the state. Rainwater havoc in Guwahati

Rainwaters are back in Guwahati to wreak havoc in the leading north eastern city.
