Stolen bike recovered in Raha
The Raha Police recovered a bike stolen from Dighaliati village under Raha police station on Monday morning. According to police the bike was owned by one Kangkon Jyoti Bhuyan, an inhabitant of Dighaliati village. According to the information received, the bike bearing no. AS-02-G 3296 went missing since Sunday night at around 12.55 a.m. from the owner's residence.
“The stolen bike was spotted at a field covered with dense shrubs in the early hours on Monday by some locals of the area upon which the police was informed," police said. Police suspect that the bike lifters dumped the bike there failing to start it due to some technical snag. Further investigation is on. No one has been arrested till now in this connection.
