East Sing reviews Indradhanush

East Siang Deputy Commissioner Isha Khosla on Tuesday reviewed the preparation for Phase II of the Mission Indradhanush at a meeting and chalked out plans to ensure that no children of 0-2 years age are left uncovered.

Appreciating the success and overwhelmed responses during the first phase immunization, Khosla asked the health officers to put all efforts to cover all unvaccinated children against seven preventable diseases which include diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, measles and hepatitis B in the district.

She further said that the focused and systematic immunization drive would be through massive campaign with available social media and radio network to sensitize innocent parents to bring their children at the nearby health centers for full immunization.
