Why should I stop pork: Akhil

KMSS president Akhil Gogoi dared the NDA government at the Centre to prevent him from eating pork.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, the KMSS leader said, "I am an Ahom. I would like to challenge the BJP-led government to stop me from eating pork. I won't listen to them."

According to Gogoi, the beef controversy put BJP in a dicey position in Bihar where the party was thrashed in the assembly polls.
