Bhutanese vehicle set on fire

Angry public set on fire a Bhutanese vehicle after hit and seriously injured a 8 years old boy Sahil Rehman, a student of Dhaligaon Hindi school this morning nearat Dhaligaon, near Bongaigaon Refinery in Chirang district.


According to sources, the boy was on way to school when the speeding Bhutanese vehicle bearing registration No. BP-2-9092 hit him, injuring him seriously around 8.30 am.  Angry public later assaulted the three persons in the vehicle before handing them over to the police. The injured was later admitted to a hospital in Bongaigaon.


The public complaint that in the last one month, over 10 accidents have happened in the same area. On Thursday, one Tarani Barman of Barpatar in Bongaigaon lost one leg after a Bhutanese vehicle BP-2A 2764 hit him.
