ASEB enters into final in Daoharu Mungkhlong football trophy
Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB).Guwahati defeated City Police,Guwahati 2-0 to enter into final of the Daoharu Mungkhlong football trophy in today’s semi final match being played at Dotma HS School ground in Kokrajhar district.
Both the team were goal less in the first half.For ASEB, Ramsang Liana and Jessy Venlalmuana scored one each goal against City Police in 73 minutes and 75 minutes respectively in the second half,which pave way to play final match.
ASEB,Guwahati will take on Barhoongkha AC,Kokrajhar on October 23 in the final match.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. The award will be presented to her during the Baokhungri festival celebration at Baokhungri Hill site near Harinaguri in Kokrajhar.
