The city based ARH Diabetes Centre, a branch of Chennai based Dr A Ramachandran’s Diabetes Hospitals, has organized a free diabetes screening & awareness camp for the member-journalists of Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on 14 November 2016. Organized on the occasion of World Diabetes Day at press club premises, the camp will facilitate the participants various investigations like sugar test, lipid testing, blood pressure, BMI, diabetes screening, nerve testing and diet counseling. The participants are requested to arrive at press club at 9 am on Monday with empty stomach. Otherwise, they can go for random sugar test and other experiments, informed Dr Rupam Choudhury of ARH Diabetes Centre adding that the camp will continue at GPC hall number 2 till 12 noon.
