Big 92.7 brings spirit of Oympics 2008 to Guwahati

As the entire nation gears up for the much awaited sporting event of the universe Olympic 2008, one of the FM Station of India BIG 92.7 took a first-of-its kind initiative and keeping up with the "Vibe of he city" offers listeners to witness an Olympics, like never before in the form of an exciting "Radio Olympiad" across 35 stations.

It unveils the biggest endurance challenge in the air, a 92.7 hours RJ marathon hosted single handedly by BIG 92.7 FM RJs across the country. In a an effort to escalate the relevance the relevance of the "Olympics" in people's lives, this offering from BIG 92.7 FM is an initiate aimed towards capturing the vibe of the event, and ensure every Indian witness spirit of the Olympics.

The Radio Olympiad will see BIG 92.7 FM presenting some of their key RJs battling it out for the ultimate endurance test, an on air RJ Marathon lasting 92.7 hours across 35 cities. The radio station- BIG 92.7 FM which is available on the frequency- 92.7 has aptly chosen a 92.7 hour marathon, which is true fortitude test. The marathon will last for 92 hours and 42 minutes.

Three youth have been killed by suspected KLNLF militants in the wee hours of the November 3 morning in Nagaon district. The deceased were namely Jogesh Shah, Mahesh Shah, Pawan Sarmah. The former two belong to Bihari Community. According to the reports last came in, the incident took place due to monetary reason. According to the eye witnesses the militants took the three people in an open field in Sukanjuri and indiscriminately open fired on them.The three died on the spot.After doing the massacre, the militants went back to the nearby hill area.
