The United Commercial (UCo) bank, Kokrajhar branch observed the 74th foundation day of the glorious UCo bank's existence with presence of customers and UCoites today at UCo bank office premises in Kokrajhar district along with rest of the state.

The day observation was followed by get together among bank customer and official staffs of the bank on the day. Meghnath Narzary, senior manager of UCo bank addressed the occasion said that the bank was working to the welfare of customers in its service area. The UCo bank was started it's banking jobs on 6th January, 1943 and since then financial transactions have been functioning among customers.

Nazary told that Kokrajhar branch presently had 24537 customers in the serving area. He claimed that bank has been dealing various scope and programmes that are giving for the customers. He said Kokrajhar branch got deposits of SBN notes due demonization Rs.17.50 crores and functioning with healthy financial transactions.

Customers also expresses their happiness over functioning and working to the financial transactions in the bank.
