BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary said eviction drive has been intensified against illegally encroached along forest in the council. The winter session of BTC Legislative Assembly was concluded today with day long scheduled at BTC Legislative Assembly House at Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar.

Borgoyary said that council administration has been stressed to protection forest wealth to meet healthy conservation of forests. He said that forest department has been taking stern measures to evict illegally encroached in forest areas in the region. He also said the BTAD administration discussed about all round development of the region with building integrated society among all sections of communities in the winter session.

The winter session of BTC Legislative Assembly was concluded today with Tridip Daimary, speaker of BTCLA in the chair. The session discussed on various developmental aspects of different department, which included education, agricultural, irrigation, road communication etc. However, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary was absent during the session.
