The Assam Police recruitment candidates for constable, UB posts, who are fit in physical test conducted in February last alleged that there is huge anomalies while publishing merit lists for written test to be held on April 2 next.

 The merit list result for the written test was published on March 28 through website where successful merit candidates are totally deprived and those who are not fall in merit list, their names are listed for written test for the recruitment.

Candidates for the Assam Police recruitment in Kokrajhar district stages a protest dharna in Kokrajhar town on Wednesday demanded proper publication of merit lists to the recruitment in a smooth manner. Candidates accused that the higher authority of Assam Police has huge anomalies while publishing merit lists.They demanded proper rearrangement of merit list as per norms and give priority to the merit candidates.
