Earth Day 2017 was observed by members of Green Guard Nature Organization at St. Theresa's School, Morigaon, with a 'Morning Assembly' talk attuned to the Earth Day Network India campaign, followed by an audio-visual presentation, 'Climate Reality: The Climate Crisis & Biodiversity Impacts', by Climate Reality Leader & District Manager Rituraj Phukan in conjunction with the environmental & climate literacy theme for the year 2017 for senior classes. The Water Pledge was also administered to the students, with an introduction on 'water, the local issue of global climate change.' The second observance was arranged at the Radhakrishnan Central Academy School, Morigaon; after an introductory Earth Day Network 'Morning Assembly' campaign, the AV slideshow 'Climate Reality: The Climate Crisis & Biodiversity Impacts', was delivered by Rituraj Phukan. The Water Pledge was also administered to the students.
