It is an encouragement message for the society that three educated youths of Kokrajhar district,two are B.Tech(Bachelore of Technology) and HS passed have come up with setting-up of a restaurant at Balajan near CIT in Kokrajhar. Bibekananda Choudhury, Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the restaurant on Wednesday, a noble venture adopted by educated youths.
The venture has been come up nomenclature M/S Green Leaf Restaurant, run by three youths in partnar to earn livelihood by restaurant trading. The three youths are hailed from remote Harigaon and Haloadol villages of Kokrajhar district. Manjil Brahma of Harigaon,who has completed his B Tech(Computer Science) from NIIT,Silchar in 2015,Brithum Basumatary of Haloadol has completed B Tech(Mechanical Engineering) from PR College,Chennai in 2015 and Bekheo Basumatary of Haloadol village HS passed from Kokrajhar Govt College. They first started their partnar business through DTP/Zerox centre near CIT complex since few months back and now they have come up with new venture to earn livelihood as well employment generations among society. Choudhury lauded the venture initiated by educated youths for earning self livelihood.
There would be available much food and fast food items including traditional foods, chowmin, paratha, special local dish in the restaurant with delicious. Presently,three-four staffs are running the restaurant with dedicated services. Mentioned be made that Brithum Basumatary, who was offered job in Godrej company in Pune after completion his B Tech, but he denied the offer and started self employment job in his locality. The entrepreneurs are imparted training by Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) run by U Co bank.
Eduard Daimary, official from RUSETI said the youths are coming up with dedicated for serving restaurant in the locality to earn their livelihood. ‘It is a good message for the society as educated youths are stepping with their self venture to make self earning’, Daimary said.
Brithum Basumatary and Manjil Brahma,both are B Tech told that they have started their restaurant venture to involved their live on self earning besides availing engagement of local youths in the jobs. ‘This is our initial stage,later we would take to expand more hospitality ventures in the area where much youths becoming unemployment’, they said. ‘We will serve much delicious food items in the restaurant with locally produce vegetable and fast foods that are found in our area with organic manner’, they added.
