Wushu championship begins

A two-day wushu championship of Kokrajhar District Wushu Association has began at Government HS & MP school ground in Kokrajhar on Saturday. Over 150 participants from different clubs of Kokrajhar district participated in the championship.

Doneswar Goyary, BTC executive member inaugurated the championship.He said that the chmapionship has been giving sporting arena among budding sport youths as well as citizens.He has urged participants to be dedicated along with discipline while participating competition and championship.

Jajnabati Basumatary  CHD (BTC) for psorts & youth welfare and president of Kokrajhar district  wushu association told that the championship was organised to hunt sporting talents in the district. She said that there are huge budding sports’ talents in the district and championship programme organising is giving sporting space to show case their talent and calibre.She also said that winner and topper participants would be forwarded to participate in the inter-district championship to be held by July.
