Meritorious students felicitated

Under the joint initiative of Batadrava Police and it's VDP wing, a felicitation programme was organized in the auditorium of Sati Radhika Girls' High School on Wednesday where 60 meritorious students of greater Batadrava region and its surroundings area were felicitated for excellent performance in the HSLC and HS final exam 2017.

The programme was held under the presidentship of Social activist Padmakanta Borah,where Devraj Upadhaya, Superintendent of Police,Nagaon attended the programme as Guest of honour to encourage the successful students. The 1st division holders of HSLC & HS Examination 2017 hailing from Batadrava including the 6th rank holder of HS ( Arts) Amanisha Borah were felicitated with a traditional gamocha, appreciation letter, a book of some great personality along with a pen.

The Secretary of Batadrava Than reception Committee Brajen Kakati,Officer in Charge of Batadrava police station Rajib Baruah,and many other dignitaries were present in the programme and wished the students for bright future.

Talking to media, Officer in Charge of Batadrava police station Rajib Baruah said, “We hope this kind of programme will bring encourgement among students in the region”.
