Students protest in Bodoland varsity
Students of Bodoland University staged a protest dharna in front of the university in protest against chancellore of the Bodoland University for allegedly recent terminates of two officers, namely Dr Sekhar Brahma, registrar and Dr Dinonath Basumatary, director of the development council of colleges. The protesters demanded early reinstate of two officers and accused of conspiracy over the termination by chancellore.

The agitators with placards staged dharna on Monday under the aegis of Bodoland University Students Union, demanded early retention of two officers in the university to meet healthy administration in the university. The agitators slammed the chancellor for termination as the executive committee of the Bodoland University submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Assam, who is also chancellor seeking extention of two years after supernation 60+2.They demanded early the officers, who were terminated, must be retention to work for the welfare of the university.

Mentioned be made that Dr Sekhar Brahma was supernated on June 30 and Dr Basumatary was completed his job in March 30 last. 

The Chancellor and the Governor of Assam Banwarilal Purohit, recent terminated both Dr Brahma and Dr Basunatary as they have supernated in their job. As per rules of the government norms, the officers in university met supernation. 

Dr Brahma said that he has been serving the university with the proposal of executive committee of the university, but he received termination letter first week of July.
