Fourth accused in Nagaon attack held

The Nagaon police probing the recent attack on the former ULFA rebels captured yet another youth on Saturday.

Identified as Rajiv Chakravarty, he was held from a house in the Ambari area in Guwahati where he has been absconding since he punched the former rebels along with his associates.

Acting on a tip off, a team of police from the central Assam district with cooperation from Guwahati police conducted a raid at a house where he was nabbed.

CCTV footage which have gone viral in social media has clear evidence of his attack on the SULFA rebels. He is the fourth one to be arrested in this connection. Police interrogation is going on.

The main culprit Abhishek Chakrabarty is still being interrogated.
