Sonowal inaugurates APL expansion project

A 500 TPD new methanol expansion project of the Assam Petrochemicals Limited, Namrup  was inaugurated by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal  on Tuesday.  While inagurating Sonowal said that the expansion will bring give new scope for the upcoming generation and  financial benefit of the state. 

Setup at an investment of Rs. 1337 crores, the expansion project will help more than 2000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, Sonowal added.

Local MLAs from Tinisukia, Thowra, Sonari , Mahmora, Digboi, Duliajan, Moran, Naharkatia  were present in inaguration ceremony. More than 5000 local people witnessed the mega event.
