Tulsi Vivah marks start of wedding season
Tulsi Vivah was observed in Hojai with traditional Hindu fervour in many households on Tuesday.
The people worshipped Tulsi Plants after it was dressed in traditional attire to mark the wedding rituals with the Lord Vishnu.
Talking to Assam Times, Virat Haritwal, a preist said," Tulsi wedding signifies the end of the monsoon and the beginning of the Hindu wedding season."
