SIVASAGAR:Security forces claimed to have captured a dreaded ULFA-I rebel during combing operation in Sivasagar on Tuesday.

Identified as Debojit Gogoi alias Putul Asom, the Myanmar trained rebel was captured from a remote village of Sapekhati as he was undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Acting on his revelation during interrogation, army, police and para military forces have launched a huge counter insurgency operation along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border which is going on.
