An AGP-BJP joint delegation which has wrapped up the two days stock taking visit to the Assam-Nagaland border in Golaghat district has confirmed Nagaland sub division on the soil of Assam in Merapani area.
Led by AGP MLA Atul Bora the team is believed to have confirmed it to Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal who dispatched the delegation comprising KP Tasha, Tapan Gogoi, Pradeep Hazarika.
They were sent two days after another delegation visited Golaghat district and did not reached the disputed areas fearing an unwanted controversy.
