BTC announces ₹2 lakhs for Angkushita

Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) administration announced ₹2 lakhs financial assistance to the Boxer Angkushita Boro,finalist in AIBA youth World Boxing championship in Guwahati.

Doneswar Goyary, BTC executive member for sports and youth welfare department extending his best greeting to Angkushita Boro said that BTC administration is giving financial assistance to Boro for her execellent performing in the boxing event.

KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar.
