GUWAHATI: Anna Hazare is preparing for a nationwide agitation to force the government to bring the Jon Lok Pal Bill to firmly deal with the corrupt rulers and legislators.
Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Friday, the Gandhian leader said only option to rein in these people is the Bill that would prevent corruption.
He said even after 23 letters he received the Prime minister has yet to respond and that need if the hour is the Bill to rein in these lots.
"Never the government is thinking of the common people. Never it has time to do the needful for the farmers. It only concentrates' for the betterment of the rich people," said Hazare.
He demanded pension for the farmers who have reached the age of 60."The farmers must get pension. The government should act accordingly," said Anna Hazare.
The octogenerian leader reached the city on Thursday and on Saturday he is leaving for Itanagar to prepare for the Jon Lok Pal Bill.
