Torch rally in Tinsukia

MARGHERITA:More than 500 people in Tinsukia took out a huge torch rally in the town on monday evening demanding immediate disclosure of the naga peace frame work and cancellation of the move to clear the Citizenship Amendment bill, 2016.local units of AJYCP, Chatra Mukti Sangram Samity, Sangrami Yuva Chatra Parishad and Sanmilita Asomiya Yuva Shakti took out the procession across the town

The participators said that the Central government must make public the Naga peace framework. "We have every rights to know it. If territorial integrity will remain intact why the pact is still kept in dark," they said.

The protestors further asked the NDA government at the Centre not to proceed with the Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016 saying that Assam won't bear extra burden.
