MARGHERITA: Tinsukia AJYCP leaders and workers slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday alleging his government's attempt to protect the Hindu Bangladeshi immigrants in Assam.

Staging a token gherao in the town, the workers of the organization warned of a massive agitation if the NDA government at the Centre comes out to the rescue of the Hindu immigrants amid the ongoing process to update NRC across the state.

9 Assam Workers Killed in Ennore Power Plant Mishap
