ABSU, AASU demand correct NRC

Kokrajhar: A 12 member joint delegation of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) and All Assam Students Union (AASU) met Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner on Thursday and took stock of the NRC verification process in the district.

 Led by Promod Boro and Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharjya the delegation stressed proper implementation of the NRC as per guidelines reached from Supreme Court (SC).

Bhattacharya hoped that the NRC update process would be flawless. He said,” we are always ready to cooperate the NRC update jobs whenever needed in the state.”
"We must have a healthy state free from illegal citizens through the  NRC update.We are optimistic that the NRC update completion work will be gaining healthy and welfare state in days to coming",said Promod Boro.
