Gaiety grips academic institutions

 

GUWAHATI: Academic fraternity across the state is soaked in the pomp and gaiety of Saraswati puja on Monday. Schools and colleges, clubs and institution have dressed afresh as the students and teachers alike are holding the puja to appease the goddess of learning.

Dressed in beautiful attires, the students are offering puja to the deity seeking Her divine help. Cultural functions along with drawing and quiz competitions are lined up in many schools and colleges to mark the occasion.

Reports of Saraswati puja festivity are pouring in from Namrup, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Nagaon, Raha, Kokrajhar, Hojai, Udalguri, Kokrajhar,DIMAKUCHI, Margherita and Tangla.
