Rapist held in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI: The Dhekiajuli police have arrested a 23 year old youth from Moinajuli area two weeks after he raped a minor girl in the area who has been undergoing treatment at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital in Tezpur.

Identified as Montu Mushahary, he was arrested after the parents of the victim filed a formal complaint at Dhrkuajuli police station.
The incident took place on February 25.
